Old Meeting House Signpost

This sign was previously held up by being attached to the movable metal railing, and had become loose and fallen. It was also rather worn.

A new sign was created in collaboration with the Unitarian Church to which it points and this was installed by a Monday Group team. There was some concern about services – no not church services! – close to the site, but during careful digging no drains or supply pipes were struck and the sign was installed safely. The ground was very friable and laden with gravel which made digging it easier, but tamping the sign back into the hole more awkward.
