Path Improvement and a Cute Pigeon

Rod and two Daves fitted three steps to make the path easier up the slippery slope by the kissing gate. In the photo the 3 boards are the risers for the steps.
These steps were on the field side of the gate, we’d fitted steps on the downhill side a few weeks earlier to make that side easier and safer too.

During our work this week a wood pigeon (or a turtle dove?) befriended us – but we’re not sure who’s true love gave him to us!
